Biography
Peter Schulte (Psychologist and teacher)
Peter SCHULTE Born in 1963 in Germany (Leverkusen), works as a psychologist at the Prison Service Training Center in Lower Saxony. In the training center, he is responsible for the staff recruitment of correction officers in Lower Saxony. Besides that, he teaches psychology during the vocational training of correction officers; he is responsible for the advanced trainings of prison staff in Lower Saxony and is in charge of the communication between the Training Center and its international contacts. Since 2013 he works in the Prison Service, as a psychologist in several prisons. This includes work as a forensic expert, carrying out communication and management trainings as well as de-escalation techniques in conflict situations. Before working in the Prison Service, he worked with disadvantaged young people at the Chamber of Handicrafts (Handwerkskammer) Braunschweig, where his former profession as a locksmith was very useful. Alongside his Job he gains several qualifications such as Master in Suggestopedia and as NLP-Master.
